田世信，1941年3月出生于北京。1964毕业于北京艺术学院，分配到贵州清镇中学教学，1978年调贵州省艺术学校，1989年调中央美术学院雕塑研究所，曾任中国美术家协会理事及中国美术家协会雕塑艺术委员会副主任。现为中央美术学院教授、中国艺术研究院中国雕塑院特聘教授，全国城市雕塑建设指导委员会顾问。TianShixinwasborninBeijinginMarch1941.AfterhegraduatedfromtheBeijingCollegeofArtin1964,hewasassignedtoateachingpositionatQingzhenMiddleSchoolinGuizhou.In1978,hewastransferredtotheGuizhouProvincialArtSchool.In1989,hewassenttotheSculptureInstituteattheCentralAcademyofFineArts.HepreviouslyservedasthedeputyheadoftheSculptureCommitteeandaboardmemberattheChinaArtistsAssociation.HeiscurrentlyaprofessorattheCentralAcademyofFineArts,aspecially-appointedprofessorintheAcademyofChineseSculptureattheChineseNationalAcademyofArts,andaconsultantfortheNationalUrbanSculptureConstructionGuidanceCommittee.
